Brooklyn Stanley is a trained biostatistician with passion for coding and electronic data capture. Brooklyn completed a BA in Mathematics at Vanderbilt University before a MSc in Biostatistics focusing on the misclassification of outcomes in logistic regression.
Whilst studying, Brooklyn supported biostatistical research into multiple diseases including cancer and diabetes. During this time, Brooklyn mastered the theory behind many widely used statistical models as well as how to apply them on real data.
Upon graduation Brooklyn moved to Chicago and worked as the sole data scientist for a small app development company that facilitates hospital billing, analysing big data to develop business strategies for new products.
Having always desired to live abroad, Brooklyn joined OPRI as a Senior Data Analyst in the UK after meeting her partner who was stationed there with the American military. Her strong analytics and team management skills led to a rapid promotion to the role of Data Analytics Manager. Brooklyn is now responsible for overseeing a team of Data Analysts and Database Administrators and the management of the OPC Research Databases.
