Rachel Pullen, MBChB MRCP (UK)

Rachel joined OPRI in 2019 following a clinical career in hospital geriatric medicine in the UK and Singapore. This led to an interest in pragmatic and real-world trials, and a desire to apply her clinical knowledge in this field. She is currently studying part-time for a MSc in Public Health with the University of London, which is due for completion in 2021.

While at OPRI Rachel has provided clinical guidance and advice on quality improvement programmes and audit work related to COPD, asthma and heart failure. She has been significantly involved in the development of Quality Standards for clinical management of patients with modifiable high-risk COPD in the CONQUEST Quality Improvement programme, and in the development of the Global Operational Protocol to implement the CONQUEST programme.
